Ann Dee – just had to thank you for ALL these wonderful, fun writing ideas. I think I’ve only missed one of them (I have to go back and find it again and FIX that ! ) Meanwhile, I’ve also spent some time going to some of your “personal” topics, and writing about those subjects as well. I’ve REALLY been on a roll, so thank you SO MUCH for that ! ! ! I’ve even gotten to the point that I’m thinking of putting enough essays and articles which I’ve written in the past, plus the pieces I’ve been doing in your memoir challenges, into a single book. Not every article is “about” writing, but many are, or could offer challenging ideas to other wannabe writers, much s Natalie Goldberg’s Writing Down The Bones does. Thank you, thank you, thank you ! ! !

BTW, Timing: I generally set the 8 minutes, then another 8, and finally a third 8 — which I only use half of; so 20 min. a day does it, and I’m getting MANY pieces done in a “first draft” level. THANKS AGAIN ! ! !
